2018 HAL World Cruise
In only 2 weeks, the MS Amsterdam will embark from Ft. Lauderdale. It will be our home-away-from-home for 113 days.

We put a lot of planning and shopping into this type of cruise because we want to be fully prepared to enjoy the journey. We certainly don’t want to worry about running out of medications (or even toothpaste.) We see our doctor for a “clean bill of health” and prescriptions for Malaria-prevention as well as more common ailments that could pop up. We try to have travel books and magazines on hand for reference. Besides the normal luggage, we schlepp snacks, books and magazines, a portable printer and office supplies. The need for compact storage in a small ship’s cabin is always on our mind. It’s a challenge for someone who has never been known to “travel light”!

Once the shopping is done, the packing must begin.
That’s a whole ‘nother story!
Nice Start Sandy. Here we go again, Rog
