Today is National Cheeseburger Day!!!

OMG!!!  We didn’t know. 

Did you know, it’s National Cheeseburger Day???  We didn’t; but as we were preparing to depart for lunch and wondering where we would go today, Roger said, “On TV this morning, I heard this is National Cheeseburger Day.”  He was so nonchalant.  Sandy’s reply was, “Well then, let’s go to Long Dogger’s for a Cheeseburger!!!  So, yep, off we went.  And dontcha know, Jimmy Buffet’s Cheeseburger in Paradise was playing on the radio as we arrived in the Long Dogger’s parking lot!!!

Aren’t you now wondering, “So, how was lunch?”

Gotta admit, it was fun and yummy. We pulled up Jimmy Buffett’s “Cheeseburger in Paradise” on the iPad while we enjoyed huge, double-patty, cheddar cheese covered, lettuce and tomato and onion enhanced burgers for our lunch!!!

The burgers arrived with lettuce, tomato, onion, and a pickle spear. The sides were orange wedges, French Fries, and Long Dogger’s famous 11-cent coleslaw.
We added the wine because, hey, why not?!?
Then we pulled out the iPad and Googled “Jimmy Buffet Cheeseburger in Paradise!!!

It’s a peppy, toe-tapping tune!!!

This was a fun lunch!!!

The only things missing were a couple of Margarita’s and that lost shaker of salt!!!
