We arrived in Maputo on a grey, overcast morning. The pall remained as we waited and waited for the immigration folks to conduct their required passport inspection. Finally, the passports were stamped and we were released to board our tours! It was a relatively short drive to the South Africa border where the transfer out of Mozambique and entry into South Africa went smoothly. We continued to Kruger National Park and the Lion Sands Narina Lodge for an exciting 4-day safari adventure!
This is the first installment and covers our arrival at the resort. The photos will tell the story.
